LAS VEGAS, NV — Kimberley Brock, a dedicated Nevada mom, made headlines when she respectfully questioned the display of a “Progress Pride” flag in her child’s classroom. Instead of engaging with her concerns, the Clark County School District (CCSD) blocked her from the district’s official X (formerly Twitter) account—a move that violated her First and Fourteenth Amendment rights.

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate a major victory! After filing a federal civil rights lawsuit, CCSD has agreed to key reforms and restitution:

  • CCSD updated its Terms of Use, clarifying the rules and creating a complaint procedure.
  • Kimberley Brock has been unblocked and can now participate freely in the district’s “digital town square.”
  • CCSD will pay $10,000 in legal fees to the Center for American Liberty.
