Ellen Hubbard

Ellen Hubbard serves as Vice President for Development. Her fundraising career spans three decades and began after she left a rising career as a trial attorney to found her own nonprofit in the liberty movement. Since then, Ellen has served as a major gift fundraiser at The Heritage Foundation, the head of major gifts at Pacific Legal Foundation, and a fundraising consultant for state and national nonprofits as well as political campaigns.

Ellen loves connecting with Center for American Liberty supporters, whom she believes are the best people she knows. Their selfless generosity in fighting for liberty and justice helps ensure a better America for future generations.

A member of the Texas bar, Ellen has been a frequent interviewee (Fox News, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, et al.) and speaker at national events. She grew up in Minnesota and now lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband, Jim. She enjoys hiking, exploring Lake Tahoe, and traveling. She’s spent Thanksgiving in the lowest (the Dead Sea in Jordan) and highest (Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal) locations on Earth.
