Planning your legacy

You’ve worked hard your entire life. You deserve to control the legacy you leave, not the government. But without a plan, probate laws will decide your legacy for you.

Forever tie your legacy with the values you believe in while ensuring the next generation of Americans have the opportunity to flourish.

A planned gift to the Center for American Liberty does just that!

Our planned giving options include bequests and trusts, donations of retirement assets and life insurance plans, gifts of real estate or personal property, as well as gifts of appreciated stocks or bonds.

Mission

The Center for American Liberty is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to defending the civil liberties of Americans left behind by civil rights legacy organizations.

Founded by Harmeet K. Dhillon in 2018, the Center for American Liberty leverages its nationwide network of attorneys to zealously advocate for individual liberty and to combat illegal discrimination.

The Constitution guarantees individual liberty rights, but as we’ve observed, there is a coordinated assault on our civil liberties from corporations, politicians, socialist revolutionaries, and inept or biased government officials. The Center for American Liberty is leading the fight against this assault on liberty by holding those who destroy our civil liberties accountable through the courts.

Bequests & Trusts

A bequest is a gift that can be designated in your will, either as percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount. Trusts and living trusts may also be established that benefit the Center for American Liberty.

Identifying the Center for American Liberty as a beneficiary of your will or trust is one of the best ways to help the Center continue safeguarding the civil rights of Americans, now and for generations to come.

Retirement Assets

You can designate the Center for American Liberty as a beneficiary of your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), tax-sheltered annuity, qualified pension or profitsharing plan. In addition, a gift of a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA may be made to the Center for American Liberty.

Life Insurance

Designating the Center for American Liberty as a primary or secondary beneficiary of your life insurance policy is another easy way to directly support the Center’s mission. These proceeds can come directly to the Center, without going through probate court.

Real Estate

Gifts of real estate qualify as planned gifts and can be made during your lifetime or part of an estate plan. A gift of appreciated property may result in a reduction in income taxes to you as the donor, while providing much-needed financial support to the Center for American Liberty when the property is sold. You may also avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation you have realized on the property.

Personal Property

Personal property with appraised values of $10,000 or more, such as jewelry or artwork, may qualify as donations to the Center for American Liberty. Please contact the Center with any questions about which assets classes may qualify

Stocks & Bonds

Do you own stock that has appreciated in value since you purchased it? Donating stock, bonds or mutual funds to the Center for American Liberty is a wonderful way to reduce your capital gains while also receiving a tax deduction for the entire appreciated amount. Instructions for making donations of appreciated stocks and bonds may be found on the Center for American Liberty website. Gifts of stocks & bonds may be made during your lifetime or as part of your estate plan.
