Josh Dixon

 

Josh Dixon serves as the Director of Litigation at the Center for American Liberty.

Prior to joining the Center for American Liberty, Dixon was a partner at an Am Law 100 law firm.  He was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star, listed with The Best Lawyers America in multiple practice areas, and rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbard.  After 15 years in private practice, Dixon joined the Center for American Liberty to serve clients whose First Amendment rights and civil liberties have been violated as a result of governmental overreach.

Before entering private practice, Dixon clerked for federal appeals court Judge Karen J. Williams and federal district judge Weston C. Houck.  Dixon is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, where he served on The Law Review, and Wake Forest University, where he graduated cum laude.  Dixon is a member of the North Carolina bar and the South Carolina bar.
